Update on My Daughter

She was blessed there. When I first got to her yesterday I knew the arm she landed on had to be broken. I was freaked over what else might be messed up. But she was lucky and no broken bones. The bruises will be turning color for quite sometime though.

Interesting though how the most unexpected folks pop up in a crisis. There is a service station on the corner by the school. We just were there to get gas over the weekend. Callie was in the car and stood in my lap as the tank filled. Most service people keep far away, never know if he could break the window I guess.

But the guy who was filling our car got down eye to eye with Callie and made goochy goo sounds. Maybe he has a bully of his own? Who knows...But of course the gas station was another audience to the accident. They had the street closed for maybe an hour.
Today my daughter said the dog loving man gave her a bottle of cold soda and asked if she was okay...very nice:)

Simple acts of kindness at a time like that can mean a lot and we never forget them. Glad she is OK!
 
Awww...I'm so glad nothing is broken. That was quite a big scare, though!!
 

Oy, hubby has always been so practical. I am the Cancer sign of the zodiac...the universal mother sign. He is Capricorn the goat. Goats are forever practical and detail oriented..." What did you sign? Who was at fault? What is the follow up now?"...but after many years I understand now.

Does your husband the goat climb on cars and stand there? Grin. That's what four-legged goats like to do. How's his health?

In Oregon,attendants have to fill your tank-it`s the law. You`re not allowed to fill it yourself. Could be other states like this,not sure.
