My husband was in hospital for blood clots in the lungs about 10 years ago for about 2 weeks with those shots in the stomach. Then he had to be on a blood thinner for a year so be prepared for that, I do not think it matters why he got the clots.Not sure what he is on. He’s still in the hospital waiting to see doctor. I know they are giving him shots in his stmach. Assuming it is probably heparin or coumadin, but I really don’t know for sure. Whatever it is, it is entering his body and fighting the battle and I am happy with that

Dr recommened they do a dip rather than the shots. It will require he stay in hosp until Monday to get the full treatment, so that is what he is doing. Those clots are being dissolved as we speak... so yay, yay, and double day!!!!

So very happy to report that our son has been discharged from the hospital and is feeling better than he has in 4 weeks. He was discharged with a boat load of scripts...blood thinners etc. he has an appt to see a blood specialist in six weeks and his own doctor in four. He still has the cough, but not as bad, his breathing is oh so much better. . Thank each and every one of you for helping to make this happen
