US Flu map Mid-December 2025

I see KS went into the high zone. It doesn't help when people go to work sick and spread it around instead of staying home. Plus many won't bother with the tests anymore. So they don't know what they have. They just come share it with the rest of us. Thanks for the update.

I've noticed an uptick in respiratory illnesses at work and among fellow coworkers so... Masks up! šŸ˜·
 
In addition to masking up, get in the habit of carrying a personal size hand sanitizer and using it frequently. You're at as much or more risk of picking up the virus from surfaces you touch than you are by getting them via airborne transmission.
 

The CDC says that:

  • Experts think that influenza viruses spread mainly by droplets made when people with flu cough, sneeze, or talk.
  • Less often, a person might get influenza (flu) by touching a surface or object that has influenza virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes.
