Two financial statements usually received here end of the month still haven't arrived. A box of DVDs took a month longer than usual to get here and a check I mailed to a neighboring zip code on 12/28 still hadn't arrived there.

USPS webpage acknowledges that covid absences among their troops are the cause.

Had no problems during last spring's lockdown.
 

The current Postmaster General wasn't shy about his attempts to slash the USPS budget and pulling some 700 automatic sorting machines out of service this year.

By the time August rolled around it was crystal clear that the 2020 holiday season was going to be extraordinarily heavy with mailed packages. The USPS did not respond appropriately by hiring temporary help or otherwise accommodating the crush that any thinking person could have easily anticipated.

I sent a package UPS Ground to Toronto, Canada and it arrived in five days. Packages sent on the 16th via USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail didn't arrive in Ohio until the 28th. Ridiculous!

Can't wait for the USPS to be set aright.
