Fifth and sixth grade girls are wearing pads and helmets just like the boys with the sanction of the NFL and USA Football. However, there has been some pushback to encourage girls, or boys for that matter, to become involved in such a violent sport as the concussion problem becomes more evident. Methinks that adolescent girls are not that likely to participate but I wonder what you think...
