One of the few people I really admire in life, UVA men's basketball coach Tony Bennett, is retiring after 15 years. He wants to spend more time with family, but admitted he no longer feels comfortable with coaching in an environment dominated by name image likeness (NIL) deals, unrestricted transfers, players playing well into their 20s, and mega-conferences. Coach Bennett is a treasure and the NCAA is going to have to make some changes to get the game back from rampant professionalism.
