My daughter who is a senior lecturer, was feeling happier today. In spite of the government saying that universities should go back to face to face teaching, her university has decided to stick to mainly on-line lecturers. As my daughter put it, she couldn't take a large group of students to a nightclub without proof of them being vaccinated and Covid free, but they would have been expected to crowd into a lecture theatre with no checks.
