Verizon Twenty Dollar Credit

Verizon is offering a $20 account credit to customers affected by a widespread outage that disrupted service across the United States.

Tens of thousands of customers were affected by the incident, which began on January 14 and lasted up to 10 hours in some areas. It left customers unable to make calls, send texts or access data services, sparking frustration and concerns about network reliability nationwide.

The $20 credit is available through the myVerizon mobile app. or website.

Affected users should log into their accounts, where an option to accept the credit is expected to appear.

Customers will also receive notification via text message when the credit is posted to their accounts, Verizon said in a statement.

You don't have to claim it through the phone app, it can also be claimed on their website. I just did mine.

The thing that bugs me, is how many won't know about this credit and never claim it? Why not just apply it to those affected by the outage?

all companies do this knowing a good amount will not claim credit. most items anymore are only paying the diligent that file and do it in a timely manner.

So, they have decided not to let just word of mouth to find out about this credit. I received a text today about the credit.
