Very scary video of the wildfire in Northern California

A young man (19) who is like a grandson to me is out fighting this fire. He`s only been a firefighter for a little over a month. So worried about him....The fire is in one of my favorite areas-we used to vacation there often. Beautiful waterfalls.

It IS very bad. As of last night,it was at 30,000 acres with zero containment. Watching this video brought home just how fast these fires can come up on you. Scary reminder of the Oakland Hills fire in 1991,where people were just swallowed alive by fire while running down their streets and the firefighters who were caught by surprise by it as well. We live in a "one way in,one way out" road in a very high fire danger area so the danger is never far from my mind.

Hmmm,was just reading the comments and they are saying this is footage from another fire in 2012. In any case,it really does show the magnitude of these fires.
