veteran actor Hal Holbrook has died at age of 95
He's best known for his portrayal of Mark Twain which he toured around the country for years He won a Tony award in 1966 for his performance
A few of his TV roles include:
a ground breaking TV movie in 1972'That Certain Summer' comes out to his son ,telling him he has a male lover{Martin Sheen}
TV Movie' Pueblo' '73 played' Capt Lloyd Bucher- navy ship that was captured by North Koreans
mini series'Lincoln' '76 portrayed Pres Abraham Lincoln
He played'Deep Throat' in" movie All The President's Men' '76
He won Emmys for his roles "Lincoln,Pueblo'
He is survived by his 3 children,his 3rd wife was actress,Dixie Carter{Designing Women} she died in 2010

Loved his work. I really liked his wife, Dixie Carter's work in "Designing Women". She was the ultimate Southern Belle in the show. It was even better when Hal was on the show with her.

He played the dirty lieutenant in the classic Magnum Force. I think I've seen that like four or five times.
