Veterans Day 2024...for all that have served.

When coming home in 1967 after discharge it took 4 days to fly from SC to the west coast. I kept getting bumped by the college deferment students flying home for summer vacation on student rates. Finally had enough in Denver & tried to buy a first class ticket home. The counter girl got me on the next flight.

I am not a veteran. But I am a persistent talker by profession. This and the help of professionals has allowed me to successfully direct several friends and forum friends towards benefits!

Vietnam, the Gulf wars. We did our duty and served our country. Don't want praise. Want to find a job, raise our family and hope that someone can look at our credentials and say, yeah hire him or her.
A veteran has to more to offer than a college graduate simply because they have been thru the training, served their time. Been thru the experience and has more to offer an employer than anyone else.
