Below is the story, but this needs to be added in. I don't know why the story was somewhat changed, and didn't include this, but the original story, on a Denver newscast this last Monday said this:
The Veteran told DPD that he honked his horn at another driver who didn't use their turn signal when they changed lanes in front of him. That driver followed the Veteran home, and when the Veteran got of his vehicle, the other driver attacked him.

DENVER — An Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War was beaten outside of his home in an attack that police say was due to road rage.Neighbors say the suspect, an unknown man who appeared to be in his 20s, didn’t take anything. Denver police confirmed Monday they were investigating the beating as a case of road rage.
The victim, a man in his 70s, was taken to the hospital. One neighbor said the man was at awake when paramedics took him away.

One thing is clear, DON'T beep your horn at someone for how they are driving! I did this once, with my wife with me, and the other driver pulled his vehicle over to the side of the road and looked like he was going to get out of the vehicle. He had opened his door as I drove by him. Wife and I glanced at him, but got on the freeway instantly and didn't give the guy any time to follow us. Yes, we were both scared and I'll never do that again!

Yes, many, or should I say A LOT, of folks here "carry" in their vehicle. The dude that worked on our boat, got into his truck, pulled out his Glock, took out the clip and showed it to me. He looked at me and said "I'm not afraid to use it either for protection or if someone pisses me off". The only thing I said after that was, "nice gun" and gave it back to him. Some people it's just smart not to have anything to do with, and with his attitude, he is one of them for us. No more boat repair done by him..........nope, no way!

In Arizona honking your horn at the wrong car can get you shot. Seriously.

Here you don't even need a permit to carry legally. We have homicides daily by gunfire. It's Republican, Charleston Heston, NRA, Wild West Nirvana.

Does that make you at all nervous or do you think about all those potential weapons being around you when you go out? I think I'd feel less safe.
