Violence In Chicago: Several Injured; 9 Year Old Girl Was Killed

As @PeppermintPatty pointed out in another thread, and I agree...the world has gone crazy. I saw news about two incidences of mass shootings that happened this past weekend. The other was in Dallas (I think) but I can't find an article about it. This one in Chicago involved mostly relatives, including a one year old and an eight year old, who were having a celebration when the drive by shooting occurred. My heart goes out to that family; what a horribly tragic event! May little Ariana Rest in Paradise and may her family find solace. :cry:Prayers for healing for those who were injured and are hospitalized. I hope those responsible are found quickly and given life sentences without the chance of parole.

Is that what this was, Papa? I'm just starting to read now... I did get as far as seeing the location (south side), and immediately Bad Bad Leroy Brown lyrics came into my head... "Well the south side of Chicago is the baddest part of town...." even way back then, apparently. :cry:

RIP, Little Ariana. I sure hope those two boys pull out okay.
