Virginia woman left hospitalised and hallucinating after venomous spider bites her lip

Poor woman. I assume that takes some time to heal. I hope some of the tissue isn't permanently damaged.
 

It's a tossup between Brown Recluse, and Black Widow spiders, as to which can cause the most harm. We get both in our area, and I'm always a bit cautious when reaching into any somewhat hidden areas in my workshop.
 
Wow! That's just crazy. Wonder what's the odds of getting bit on the upper lip like that :unsure:
Hope she recovers without permanent disfigurement.
 
I got bit 10 times on my right knee while sleeping last week. Thankfully our spiders are as big as flees.
