Do you dress with the intent of being seen in inclement or dark weather?
With short daylight hours and dismal weather, many of the people involved in pedestrian accidents are wearing dark clothing.
Lately I’ve been looking for a non-neutral winter coat. Red would be great but so far haven’t seen anything warm enough.
If it’s dusk, I wear my reflective vest. There are lots of little flashing devices that we can carry. Unfortunately they work best in non-urban setting and just get lost in city lights and traffic
For rain my travel umbrella is multi-coloured with flowers. It’s ugly but stands out vs the standard black ones that blend into the dismal day.
Too bad more umbrellas don’t have reflective markings. Some have a few stripes.
