Me: I was so cold while taking my nap.
Hubby: What was the thermostat set at?
Me: 84°F
Hubby: Oh, no wonder, that's freezing cold.
You would have to spend a night here at our home to understand how cold natured we are.
I have been laughing!!! So many memories of sweaty visitors. The best memory is of my niece Gigi; she had these almost wool like long sleeved pjs (during the summer) and about passed out of heat exhaustion thinking it would be very cold in our home.

@PamfromTx, that reminds me of the time I put the duel-control electric blanket on our queen size bed when I was married. Unknowingly, the cords got twisted so we had each other’s controller. I kept cranking my controller up, trying to get warm and husband kept turning his down b/c he was burning up! 😂😂😂. Took us a few min to figure out what the problem was 🙄😆
 
One gets accustomed to their own weather; I know, we have. I freeze when we are in my hometown during Winter months.

I'm set at '67' most of the time, with ceiling fans running too.
 
I was thinking that you don't know the meaning of 'cold', but I've been both roasted and frozen when I've been in Minnesota.

We have a fairly temperate climate here. On a bad winter, we sometimes get snow and ice. In summer, 70 deg F almost makes the news ! That's T-shirt and shorts weather in Scotland. I have difficulty sleeping if it's much over 65 F.
 
We not only get acclimated to local weather, often it makes a difference what the weather is outside. We have a clock that has a thermometer included on end of a bookcase in middle of living room--about 10 ft from woodstove. It reads in low 70's most of the time. When wind is blowing, especially if rainy outside, it can feel cold no matter the time of year. On the other hand if sunny and calm it can feel 'comfortable in winter and refreshingly cool most of the time but especially coming in from outside in the summer. Built a 150+ yrs ago the walls are a foot thick, stucco'd (tho it needs redoing) and house is drafty tho i winterize windows and doors every fall, in summer the drafts add to cooling with open windows. At least we have fewer sub-zero nights than in Wyoming.

Totally get Capt Lighting's feelings about temps for good sleep. Both daughter and I prefer the room to be in the 60's and wear warm bedclothes and cover up in winter. Every fall have to get used to putting bedcovers back 'up' over where i was sleeping when i get up to stoke the fire, otherwise they're too cool on getting back in despite using flannel ones. In summer it usually cools off wonderfully at night since we're in Mountains. Maybe a total of 14 days a summer we even need fans.
