Vitamin D deficiency found in patients with a severe case of covid 19

Researchers in Ireland discovered that patients low in vitamin D are getting some of the most severe cases of the corona virus. Patients from below latitude 35 degree had lower mortality rates. Vitamin D seems to help supress severe inflammatory responses to the virus.
