My crew during a snowfall, in March 2009.
I sincerely hope the theocratic reference does not offend anyone. The owner of my local horse forum does on-line scrapbooking. She created this frame and used it for one of the monthly "centerfolds" on the forum. If you look close, she has also shadowed the horses into the actual framework; adding a somewhat ethereal quality.
She is also the person that did the snow frame with my Arab - that woman has an eye for framing pictures on-line.
My point is, most of us are waiting for Spring and March is the most fickle month of them all
At this moment it is POURING rain, lightening and thundering but we're supposed to have snow tonight
The year I took this picture we had 8" to 10" of snow, followed by that ever-popular melt/freeze/rain/snow some more. Our drive is 500' long and I was plowing because of the thaw & freeze (Mr. TWH is NOT allowed to plow - it's my tractor
Ten inches of snow is nothing when one lives in PA but it is front page news when one lives an hour north of the Alabama border
For the record, not that anyone cares, these four have been with me 22+ years; 16+ years; 19+ years; 6+ years. They are not commodities; the only place they are going is in the ground when their times come:sentimental:
