Walgreens offering $25 gift card for anyone who gets vaccinated this week

Anyone who receives their COVID-19 vaccine from Walgreens now through June 26 will get a $25 Walgreens gift card.

They'll have lots of competition from Taco Bell - they're giving out free tacos for a vaccine.

The numbers of those being infected are starting to rise quite a bit, in Missouri. Mostly, it is among those in the 20 to 35 ages bracket, but also in some of our more rural counties. In February thru April, there were a lot of people in our area getting vaccinated, and even the local Walmart was giving shots. Now, only the local county Health Center is offering shots, and very few people are showing up.

Every day, in the past week, the numbers of those getting ill are rising, and many of the hospitals in the state are starting to fill up. Personally, I think far too many people are "assuming" that this pandemic is behind us...and things may get pretty bad in the coming weeks.

That Could happen again....if the Foolish continue to downplay the severity of this pandemic....or if the virus mutates into variants that the current vaccines are not effective against.

A $25 gift card at Walgreen's ? I had my 2nd Pfizer shot in early February. Maybe I'm safe for another round and after all, 25 dollars is 25 dollars.

If it's a Pfizer shot I might take them up on it. Don't want to mix vaccines !!
