I know what chips are over there, but didn't know a fish and chip shop was called a "chippy". I was wondering what happened to the fish! I guess what we have as fish and chips in our restaurants are frozen, so not as good. Wish we would get a chippy here, like the one in NY! Secret, 100 year old batter? Fascinating- does it have beer in it? Thanks!
