Want to take a moment to talk about ghosts

My take on ghosts are skeptical. Besides Casper, I don’t see any ghostlike spirits with a positive attitude. Most renditions about ghosts are troubled spirits that somehow were stranded in this earthly dimension due to lack of closure. Whether true or not it makes a good story.
Believing in ghost one might surmize if ghosts exist there may be a destination for the dead.

Personally, I do not believe the good, the bad and the ugly are channeled between heaven and hell for eternity. Speaking of eternity, Life eternal is not for me, however, for Christians it seems to ease the concept of death and dying.

What about those zombies? I did not know their favorite food was human brains, go figure? Zombie’s were not around when I was growing up, i think they are kinda on monster circuit. Your Mumma, Tom Cruise makes a decent mummy movie, although the movie I saw was about a mummified Egyption princess who sacrificed Cruize for eternal life.

The big deal about death is it’s unknown and dark. I don’t know if death is dark, but if you close your eyes like a dead person, it’s dark. That means you cannot see where you are going, where your at or where you going. Perhaps the living believe when your dead, you cannot see?
I wonder if ghosts can see? Perhaps like reptiles recognizing infrared heat images.
It’s nearly Christmas, dear Scrooge you will be visited by three Spirits: Johnny Walker, Jim Bean and Jack Daniels the true Christmas Spirits are located at Ed’s Bar & Grill.

Movies like "The Sixth Sense" and "Ghost" come to mind. I think there are a lot of stories about "ghosts" who have helped people avoid danger by warning them.

Man grapples with mortality, and we've come up with several (fictional) scenarios to dress it up as something other than the end: Resurrection, Zombies, Ghosts, cryogenic defrosts, etc. We constantly try to separate the unequivocal (the physical body rots) from the person that was, the Soul, the Spirit, our essence or life force.

Ghosts have been with us for 3500 years in literature. So they're nothing new. They do great in movies to scare the crap out of us!

But, there's no evidence or proof, and that's where it must end for me. In all of humanity, as far as we know, we've not been able to isolate a Ghost and put it to tests. Until there is evidence, it's not something I can belief actually exists. Which is not to say there aren't instances where things get spooky. Sometimes you can let your guard down and believe there might be something slightly glowing in the corner of the room. Buildings can hide all kinds of phenomena. Our imagination will do the rest.

I don't believe in ghosts. I think I believe in synchronicity and maybe some ability of the other side to communicate through energy in some way.

There is an energy. It is particularly potent after the death of a loved one. I don't know or understand this energy. Tarot works on an energy, so do ouija boards. I have no comprehension of this energy. I do not try to go to it's root. I just accept it.

Thousands of years ago, there was an Egyptian god, Medjed. Some other gods came by and killed him. So, Medjed became a "ghost god". This is how the Egyptians portrayed Medjed.
