Now that people have to bet back to making payments on their student loans, the scammers are Climbing out of their dark smelly holes with ways to cheat people. One way is to call a person with a loan Pretending to be from the Federal goverment. They demand an immediate payment otherwise a lawman will show up at your door in a few days and haul you away.
Other scammers, pretend to be able to help the student reduce the amount of the loan For a fee. Once they are paid their fee the scammer disappears. Or she offers obvious advice such as “Reduce the amount of the loan by making your payments”.
