Mountain Webcams | Kirkwood Ski Resort

Yes, I did receive my noted herein on this board, Christmas present.

The above link is the best live webcam in the Tahoe region for Internet watching people ski. It is also at one of my EPIC season pass resorts. My cheaper senior pass is blacked out this holiday week though I could visit another resort that just opened today after the storms where I have a free Golden Age season pass for being at least 75. I'll just have to wait till after New Years 2026.
 

Of course, being the largest holiday week each winter, and all the new snow and now perfect sunny weather, all the resorts this week will be maximally crowded with skiers and snowboarders. Of course, lift lines will be really long that no one enjoys standing in. By the end of the week, many visitors that are skiing for the first time this winter will be worn out with lift lines much shorter. So early January is looking great for this senior that every day he wakes up is Saturday with the government paying him good money to do nothing.

Above is a Windows 11 print screen capture for the other resort I most ski at with the slope I most ski, at the frame center ridge line in the background. The lift at frame lower right services that run and is likely to open up later today. Its live web link is above where one can also watch people skiing and getting on the lift. This is at 8.5k feet with the ridgeline 9.4k.
 
I see they have now at 1:;30pm opened up the other lift, lower frame right. The two lift lines are predictably short now, as most people are skiing their first day this winter and are not in fit enough shape to ski too long.
