We begin to look like our pets, and they like us.

Big tough guys get big tough dogs. Warm, affectionate people get cuddly cats. This is my cat after he sat under a road tar dripping truck. What's that say about me?

I also might add that working in a pet store I see the most interesting human and pet combinations. Sometimes the match is right on target. A middle aged woman immaculately dressed and coiffed. Of course her dog is perfectly groomed and might be wearing matching jewelry. But what's funny is when opposites attract. A big burly guy with painful looking piercings and in his arms is a happy little Pomeranian. Look at me...petite and pale n' baby boy is built like a tank.

My Dad had a friend who was so very short. I think he was trying to compensate by owning a Great Dane. He also had a tiny little car and to see him drive down the street with that Great Dane beside him was quite a sight. The dogs head alone looked bigger than the car itself. I have no idea how he managed to stuff him in there.

I knew a guy like that. Saying he was height challenged was being kind. But he had two sled dogs. Huge and perfectly trained, but him walking between them and he was almost hidden. Reptile people tend to be weird. Rather should I say snake people. Bearded dragons are downright cute. But snake people seem to favor lots of tats, lots of piercings, perhaps alternative hairdo's.

Take your frozen mice and get the hey out of my store:mad:

Well, Fuzzy isn't so fuzzy, is he. He's done this last year, too. What amazing is that he'll be covered in hair in about a month or two. I yell at him and swear at him, but he doesn't mind. He just ignores me. He is a Norwegian Forest cat, which means his "meow" is not loud at all. But that never stopped Fuzzy, his incessant meow, even if you can barely hear it, gets to you. He is the perfect pet for me. He's old and falling apart, like me. He's set in his ways, like me. All he wants is food and watching TV , like me.

Our son drove a red MG roadster and with his white Samoyed had a striking appearance.

People used to get a kick out of seeing me 6' 4" walking our 4# chihuahua. He was a fun little dog.
