It’s a Hyundai Tucson. A lot of technological bells and whistles which I’m having so much fun figuring out because I love technology. 💕 Ron’s geeking out over the mechanical specs!!

I can create a digital key through my phone so I don’t need to carry the key fob. My phone syncs with the car through Apple’s CarPlay, and it charges wirelessly through the onboard charging plate. It has a hands free gesture free smart liftgate, 10 inch touchscreen, all wheel drive and they’ve done something with the airflow that allows for quick temperature regulation without blasting the air which has always been a pet peeve!

Never had a hybrid before so it’s taking some getting used to. It’s so quiet for one thing even though it has an abundance of power! Better fuel economy too, and the ride is so smooth.

Who else drives a hybrid? Any wisdom to share?

It's Beautiful! How fun to find all the things that a car can do these days, besides getting you where you want to go. Wish you the best of luck with it. 🌞

Yeah it is.
Are turn signals just little lights at the rear bottom or do tail lights blink now? That was one complaint I saw in a review. It makes it hard for people behind you to see when you have a turn signal on as the lights are too low.

Have a coworker with a hybrid. Only issue she's had is forgetting to turn the car off since it runs so quiet. ;)

13 years ago, my CRV met a huge rock that wouldn't move. I needed a cheap car quick. I got a Hyundai Elantra. I tried to kill it, but it just wouldn't die In October, people were coming in from all over to ram into it as it was parked. So got a new Elantra. The point being, I found Hyundais are well made cars. So Ronni, you've got to tell us how well the car does.

Congratulations Ronni, beautiful car! You're waaaay more techie than I'll ever be, I'll hold onto old school as long as I can. :)

A hybrid, IMO, is the way to go....far better than a electric vehicle, especially if you plan to drive any distance. If/When we decide to replace our Impala, we will probably get a hybrid.

I got my first hybrid last year - Honda Accord Touring. It really spoiled me & I doubt I'll ever get a gas-only car again.
The gas tank is only 12.8 gallons & I go 600 miles.

I don’t have any comparison to earlier models but the turn signals on this one are bright and easy to see.

Is there a version of this post in English?

Lovely motor ..do you still have to plug it in somewhere ronni ?
You might be thinking about a "Plug-In Hybrid" which can provide an extra 30 miles or so on electric only.
A regular "Hybrid" has "Regenerative Braking." Whenever you brake or coast, a generator recharges the battery pack. You're able to see it on a dashboard indicator.
One of my concerns was, "What if I don't brake for a long time - like on a long freeway drive; won't the batteries get too low to drive the car?"
The manual explains it. "When the battery pack gets below a certain point, the gas engine takes over completely, so you'll never be without power."
