We May Be Older But We Are Still Cool

So, what makes you "cool" as an older person? I for one, feel I am cool because I listen to all sorts of people of all different ages and even though I don't always agree I still hear them out. And I do consider what they have to say,too.

Well according to my Grandchildren I am cool because I listen to metal music, watch WWE and UFC, and am a good shot with water balloon fights and snowball fights. Plus I also have all the dirt on their parents 😁

Besides using the like icon and will reply to add something...I like a lot of that stuff too so that must add to my "coolness" too! :D ❣️Snowball fights are so much fun, I'd like to get into one about now!!
 

My Grandkids think I'm cool because they tell me stories that they wouldn't dare tell their parents and I don't rat on them.
Last summer I showed them how to flip watermelon seeds at each other with their fingers as they flew all over the kitchen and how to place a piece of canned peach over their front teeth to make a big yellow smile.
I have so much more to teach them. lol

Most young people these days aren't "cool." There's nothing cool about all those tattoos and piercings, or with life revolving around technology. Today's music isn't "cool." A lot of it sounds like the music my parents listened to, or it sounds like it was computer generated.

I'm not saying those things are good or bad, but they're not "cool."
