Weather Sensitivity

How do you feel when the weather is changeable, raining, windy, storms?

I absolutely hate changeable weather. I would love to move to a dry climate where the weather is the same all the time. Is there such a place?

When the weather is bad like today (windy and rain), my head is aching, I am nauseated, tired and moody.......

Here is a good read if you are interested:

Do you feel tired or exhausted? Do you suffer from headache? You may suffer from weather sensitivity symptoms.
Millions claim that the weather literally gets onto their nerves. Just because there is only limited scientific proof that weather sensitivity exists doesn’t mean that you are wrong and doesn’t mean that the medical profession should dismiss your plight as a psychological disorder. The sheer number of worldwide sufferers won’t be ignored any longer – and science is slowly catching up.

Sounds like southern California might be the place for you. It's hot and dry much of the year but slightly cooler in the winter. Actually, the winters are dang near perfect. It rarely rains. But that's another problem - drought. :(

Doesn't bother me any way or the other; I take it as it comes, since there's nothing I can do about it.

Thanks Glinda..............I always thought California might be a good place for me. When I was in SanFrancisco, LosAngeles and even Vegas, I felt wonderful. I was even in wind storms and still felt good.

In Vegas, you definitely either adjust to the wind, or go nuts! While living there, the wind once blew constantly nearly 2 weeks at 30 mph. Blew the water out of our swimming pool, due to waves being generated; the pool wound up with an inch of dust at the bottom. imp

Red, I found this past rainy weekend was hard to deal with too, I felt very zoned out and tired and a bit out of sorts, although I usually don't mind the rain all that much because I'm from BC originally, but the wind does make it worse. Today is a lot better, sunny and warmer, but I'm still recuperating. I hope your feeling better too.

I actually am the opposite, like the energy of the storms energizes me. I was fascinated by it as a kid, later learned barometric pressure had a lot to do with it.

Here in West Texas it's pretty consistently hot and dry. Not my cup of tea.

I felt a lot better today Cookie but I am not looking forward to Tues and Wed and I hear it is going to be raining again. I like the way you said "very zoned out". that is a good way to describe it, I feel that way and can't think straight. Definitely out of sorts too.
