Good for you, DebToday's update - lost 2.5 pounds in September. Now I have to add an extension on my graph since I've gone below where I expected. As cooler weather is here, I will likely stop losing as I will not be mowing the lawn or having yard sales. Also, my summer projects are done - cleaning out the two back porches and the cellar.

I'd be willing to make a donation!I'm working on gaining 4 or 5 lbs. Too skinny right now!
Wish you guys could. I'm eating as much as I can I think. Hoping to gain a couple pounds.I'd be willing to make a donation!
I just checked - height 64", waist 44".
yup this pandemic also has weight gain in most people..to answer for as well... so many people unable to get out of the house to work or exercise, and therefore home eating and drinking more too...don't be too hard on yourself , we'll all start again in 2021Oops. Now heading in the wrong direction. Gained 4 pounds in the last month. Not surprising after Thanksgiving added to my decreased physical activity.

Thank you for this - it's helpful and encouraging. Since the 1950s (and probably before), women have been bombarded with Barbie Doll and anorexic fashion model body ideals like 24" waist measurements. The old 36-24-36 nonsense. My BMI stays in the 22-23 range, but I haven't had a 24" waist since roughly age 9. Never was a tiny, petite creature.Read this....AND give it Serious Consideration..........

I had the same problem in my 30's and forties..I felt I was eating plenty, but couldn't put weight on, and people remarked all the time about how skinny I was. I was always annoyed by their remarks I felt like I ate enough.. but when the blood transfusion centre refused to take my blood donor donation because I was underweight, I realised I must not be eating enough, so gradually I upped my intake, and became a normal weight.. now if I'd only stopped there....Finally gained a needed couple pounds. We exercise everyday so physical exercise is not an issue (usually). Just hadn't been eating enough. Started drinking a glass of wine a day and eating a bit more. Its about calories in, calories out...lol.
When I was in my 40's and 50's, had the opposite issues...ha ha. I seemed to be always hungry - now, not so much. I weight 35 lbs or so less now than I did then! Could have used that reduced appetite when I was traveling so much back then, that's a fact.I had the same problem in my 30's and forties..I felt I was eating plenty, but couldn't put weight on, and people remarked all the time about how skinny I was.
