Ain't no stopping you now @hawkdon ... wear a helmet, keep hydrated and don't even think about joining a biker gang

Enjoy your newfound freedom 🛵 :)

The hubs, is refusing to submit to a wheelchair and limps around using a cane. He gets around the house all right, but he doesn't get outdoors except on the patio or if we go out to eat and then uses ramps and handrails or his cane in one hand and his other hand in my back jeans back pocket. One of the granddaughters scolded him for being rude, the appearance of grabbing her grams @ss.

Anyway, I saw this wheelchair with bike adaptor, so I showed it to him. We used to bike and/or walk together every day. Neither of us can ride a bike because of balance issues, so I think this would work our nicely. He wouldn't get any exercise, but he would get some sun. He said, "Hell no, he would feel like a sacrificial lamb out front, plus become the butt end of his buddies jokes. ."

I guess I'm officially 'old,' just got my first walker, it's a folding one with a seat and hand brakes. Not motorized, so I have to push it but I can take breaks and sit in the seat when I need to. Yeah, the 'golden' years, pffft. Rite Aid stores are closing so the wife got this one 40% off and I rather like it. Haven't taken it out on a road test yet but it's assembled and tested, like you, in the house. So far, so good. :coffee: Don...
