What a difference a century makes..interesting footage of subway

This was interesting to see how times have changed from when people actually had some class. There are two videos, the first taken in 1905 of the 42nd street subway platform and the second was taken about 100 years later on the same platform. The guitar street performer dude actually seems to have some talent going on.

As the article says, when the older video gets to the 4:20 mark is where you see the people, so skip ahead unless you just want to watch the train.

Interesting.

"Dressed to the Nines" ... something you sure don't hear much anymore. Looking at that video from 1905, hard to imagine when people had time to put that much clothing on daily. It sure was another lifetime ago!
