What about umbrellas? Do you use them much?

The sound of rain on my umbrella is theraputic. I keep thinking I should send this in as a suggestion to a Relaxing sounds podcast that I listen to.

Had to use my umbrella twice today. It made me happy, because we’re desperate for rain.

Like SeaDoug, I keep one in my suitcase. I got tired of buying dollar store specials every time we travelled.

Both my good umbrellas are bright florals. Frankly, I think they’re ugly but I want to be seen by traffic when crossing the roads.
 

Just for sh!ts and giggles, I went looking to see if I still have a bumbershoot. Yup. It has the AT&T logo on it. Considering that I retired more than 30 years ago, I kind of think that if I tried to use it, it would fall apart as soon as I tried to open it!
 
I keep a mini-collapsible umbrella in my purse, always.
When I was visiting my brother in Vancouver, I noticed that many people didn't use umbrellas at all.
I recall, while growing up in Vancouver, it sometimes poured for days on end. I can't imagine not using an umbrella through that!
