What an Ugly Little Car, an Electric Car Built in Morocco

It's almost identical to the Smart for 2 which is very popular in the UK....

The Smart Car is so good for cities and Parking! I sometimes speak to the owners about them. One woman told me she goes 85 mph on the highways. Never heard one complaint. Of course, in an accident you're probably made dead!

Sometime in the 70s I was a passenger in an Opel. There was a huge truck next to us on the highway. I could see nothing except what appeared to be the biggest tire ever. One wrong move and I don't think the truck driver would have noticed.

Yabbut, if there were 10 Roman soldiers in the car.....?
You have hit the nail right on the head.

Decimation (Latin: decimatio; decem ="ten") was a form of Roman military discipline in which every tenth man in a group was executed by members of his cohort. The discipline was used by senior commanders in the Roman army to punish units or large groups guilty of capital offences, such as cowardice, mutiny, desertion and insubordination, and for pacification of rebellious legions. The word decimation is derived from Latin meaning "removal of a tenth." The procedure was an attempt to balance the need to punish serious offences with the realities of managing a large group of offenders.

Look to the far left, that little car is a Mini. Can't see ten Legionaires getting into that!

You may not have thought so but you could be wrong:

"The world record was achieved on September 5, 2014, but its video went viral after Guinness World Records official Twitter handle shared it with the caption, "How many volunteers can squeeze into this regular-sized Mini Cooper?" In the video, 29 people can been crammed inside a Mini Cooper

60 years ago the Brits came up with a small city car. How popular
did The Mini prove to be? Production ran from 1959 to 2000.
I had a 64 Mini Cooper, with the 1275cc twin carb engine. Fast as anything up to 110 mph, then the valves started to float and you ran out of power. A terrific car in the snow with snow tires on all 4 wheels. A bit spartan as equipped from the factory, but there were a number of UK after market suppliers that you could buy things from. Paddy Hopkirk designed a whole range of high performance parts for the 1275, and at stage 3 tuning it was putting out over 100 hp. I didn't have the kind of money to go that fast.....JImB.

I had 2 Mini's... one was my very first car... they were 800 cc engines.. Even back then almost 50 years ago, they made one feel very Vulnerable because they were so low to the ground , getting behind a truck or a us was quite intimidating. Today that would be 10 fold because most cars are large 4x4's... so if ever thought to have a tiny car again, it would be for simply around town, and never near a motorway
