What annoys you?

😧I have twice been woken in the early hours in past week by the air ambulance going to the new hospital half a mile away....very annoying:eek:
Well at least you could go back to sleep, the poor seriously ill patient in the helicopter might never wake up..

We have the East Anglian air ambulance go over our house too, it's very loud I know, it was the one prince William used to pilot..

..but really you have to be a little more tolerant.. you never know when you might need an emergency ambulance or helicopter which will annoy people for a few minutes

Poor diddums...so no thought for the sick or dying person in the ambulance :(

I've been woken so many times in the middle of the night by idiots and their deeply held fears of mufflers, and the their moral convictions that everyone within a 1/2 mile ( literally) radius of their vehicle be subjected to the full unfettered volume of their sound system, 1:00-4:00 AM usually. I can't go back to sleep at all.

This is my main one, but I could go on and on and on.......On a positive note this actually could be useful should I ever find my self in the position to need to filibuster.

The couple times I've heard the medical choppers I was already up and so far none have landed very close.
Having been a passenger on one I at least had the courtesy to have my flight at 1 pm on a Monday, but that's a different story.

I can relate to the muffler thing. In my area, some seem to feel that it’s the epitome of manhood to run an unmuffled Harley or other vehicle down the road so that your windows are rattled, your animals terrified, and you can’t hear TV or convos in your own house... 😾

i’m not being intolerant. It is just annoying having just got rid of the police helicopter which used to come over at all hours! And once i’m awake that’s it!

Any noise or sounds in general. Right now my stomach is in knots listening to the constant tap, tap, tap, bang from the kid next door using his basket ball and hoop.
Even music that I love drives me crazy after awhile. I can just take so much.
I have my clock in the bedroom on a piece of foam because I can hear the constant hum.
I have a hearing problem and people can't understand how I can hear those things. I can't seem to get them to understand its the tone, not the loudness.
I often wonder if it stems from my childhood. I was an only child, lived in a rural area. My dad would play the organ or his guitar for about an hour each evening. TV was on only in the evening for a few hours and rarely did anyone turn on the radio.
We enjoyed a very quiet way of living.

That is like Chinese Torture.

I don't have anyone near to me who does that thank goodness, but we used to have little boys next door and they would kick their ball against the fence from morning till night when they weren't at school.. and immediately they got home from school 'till bedtime...
