Le Pradel Fat Carbon Lava ~ Handmade in Thiers France

The Pradel by Fontenille Pataud is an interpretation of a knife popular in the West of France at the beginning of the 20th century. Its discreet lock-back system allows use of this folding knife in total safety.

Hand knapped by Tony Stanfield out of White City Oregon.

Midnight Lace and Red Obsidian Bowie Knife with Black Tail Deer Antler Handle
Dragon Glass Gray Obsidian Arrowhead Necklace with Deer Antler Mount

While both are sharp, they are more decorative in modern times than practical for daily use.
The Obsidian is much too brittle compared to steel.
Although tiny Obsidian chips are used in eye surgery.
That's because Obsidian can be much MUCH sharper than steel can be.
Kinda like glass shards.

If your name is Earl, I may have found your pocket knife ...
Wednesday evening with this little Sears Craftsman penknife from 70's to 80's era.
Based on the way carved into the Delrin handle material, I might guess Earl's last name began with an "L" ... dunno
Made for Sears on contract with Imperial/Schrade. Camillus also made pocket knives for Sears.
Steel is 1095 carbon steel.
