For me it's The CW and HGTV. CW programs I watch are Legacies, The Flash, Supergirl (series ended), Rivervale, The 4400 (season over), Naomi, Batwoman and Stargirl. The latter four I have to watch on the CW app (via Roku or on my tablet). The others I'm a season behind and watching them on Netflix. I watch the HGTV waterfront home buying shows ad free via Discovery+: Beachfront Bargain Hunt, Caribbean Life, Island Life, Bahamas Life, Hawaii Life and Lakefront Bargain Hunt. There are some new ones I'll be checking out. I also watch episodes of Tiny House Hunters and Tiny Luxury.

Here lately, it seems that the most of what I like to watch is half Netflix and half Amazon Prime Video. I've gotten hooked on The Wilds on Prime; oh and we've started watching more and more stuff on HBO Max (Barry for one). Kind of thinking about maybe getting Apple TV but not sure yet.

Streaming > Netflix, Amazon Prime, Tubi, TSN, SN
OTA > CBC, CFTO, ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, TVO, Global, CityTV, CW, ion, Fox, MyTV plus all the sub channels of the aforementioned
I see you're streaming lots...but do one or two channels have more shows you like to watch than the others?

Wow, we are so old fashioned. We tried streaming but the shows kept getting hung up. Plus, we have surround sound in our house and streaming doesn't come through when we watch it. We want the full experience.

We watch mostly every home improvement show on HGTV (Unsellable Houses, Fixer to Fabulous, Home Town, Bargain Block) and the dramas on Showtime and HBO (Gilded Age, Yellowjackets, The First Lady, The Righteous Gemstones, I Love This For You). Also, every crime drama on HLN and ID TV. We also love House Hunters and House Hunters International on HGTV.

These are essential for me. As soon as I start to make dinner, I turn on a recording. There really aren’t many tv shows that I have to watch and they’re on various channels. Better Call Saul & the Good Fight are on AMC, I think. Lately I’ve been using my On Demand so I can watch shows I forgot to record. Even if I have to watch a one minute commercial three times in the 22 minutes, it’s faster than doing the FF.

I watch a variety of stations for news. They’re Canadian so most here wouldn’t know them.

Most of what I watch is on TCM, Retro TV, and HBO but I also watch a fair amount on PBS, The Food Network, HGTV and series on Ovation, Showtime, Epix and Starz. So all of those channels carry most of my programming.

TCM and Retro TV... Film noir classics and other old films.

HBO... My Brilliant Friend/season over - Gentleman Jack - The Invisible Pilot - The Gilded Age/season over - The Righteous Gemstones/season over - Painting With John/season over - How To With John Wilson/season over - His Dark Materials/season over - The White Lotus/season over - Warrior/season over - Pennyworth/season over.

The Food Network - Ina Garten/Barefoot Contessa - Beat Bobby Flay - Chopped - Bizarre Foods America - Delicious Destinations - Diners Drive-ins and Dives - Good Eats - Girl Meets Farm.

HGTV - Love It Or List It - Lottery Dream Home - Beachfront Bargain Hunt - Caribbean Life - Lakefront Bargain Hunt

Yes, I like to watch TV. 📺 😊

@Bella Add Hacks to your list for HBO. I’m going to take your suggestions and put them in my list. I like checking out what others are watching. I think Barry is on there too.

I love The Gilded Age, The Righteous Gemstones, The White Lotus and How To With John Wilson. I haven't heard anything about How To (which is hilarious) but the rest have all been renewed. (y)

@Jules - I checked out"Hacks”and watched a trailer on YouTube. It looks good, lol. I love Jean Smart. It'll give me something to watch since so many of the series I'd been watching are over for the season. I'll catch up with the first and second seasons before diving into the third. I also checked out “Barry”. Likewise, I'm in, lol. Thanks for the heads up. 🙃🙂

@dsaeg2 - I checked and “How To With John Wilson'' has been renewed for a third season. All the ones on my HBO list have been renewed. I really enjoyed “The Gilded Age'. If you like that, you might want to check out “Gentleman Jack”. “The Righteous Gemstones”, OMG, lol! I love it.“The White Lotus” is fun, too. I also watch "Yellowjackets" and “The First Lady”.

@OneEyedDiva - Did you watch Gotham on Fox that ran from 2014-2019? It was great! If you haven't seen it, you might want to check it out. I think it's right up your alley. You can find all five seasons on Netflix, iTunes, Amazon Instant Videos, Google Play and VUDU.

Bella, I tried watching an episode of Gotham when my husband and I were on vacation. It didn't grab me even though I was interested in seeing how Jade Pinkett Smith fared in it. Perhaps I would need to see it from the beginning to appreciate it. Right now my T.V. plate is overflowing. I literally have hundreds of episodes to watch of various shows on my streaming platforms and silly me...I keep adding more shows and movies when I decide to try something that has an interesting trailer. 🥴 Thank you for the suggestion. Maybe I'll get back to Gotham one day.

The only network shows I watch are on CBS,NBC:
Ghosts{which is #1 new comedy} FBI:International
NBC's Fri night Dateline
The cable channel programs I try to watch weekly:
Science: Mysteries of the Abandon,Engineer Castrophies, Expedition Unknown
History:
Food That Build America
HGTV: My Lottery Dream Home, HomeTown
Cooking: Delcious Destinations with Andrew Zimmern
Food Network: Kids Championship Baking Show
Oxygen: Tues&Weds Dateline:Secrets Uncovered
Smithsonian: Mighty Cruise Ships,Trains
Magnolia: Barnwood Builders,Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern

The CW mainly for local news, occasionally a movie, and shows like The Goldbergs.
Otherwise, my go-to channels are BounceTV, The Grio, and AntennaTV.
I watched EscapeTV often, til it was no longer supported by over-the-air programming.

Mostly Amazon lately, Reacher, catching up on Yellowstone and Midsomer Murders of course.

Also trying to watch the new Trekkie on Crave, I hope it gets better, not up to the quality of the others IMO

I use Amazon and Netflix quite a bit. I would like to binge on British films. In particular Alec Guinness films. I'm considering a subscription to the British Film Institute's bfi player classics. Anyone had any experience with them that they would be willing to share?
