I recently retired from engineering. I’ve always loved being outdoors – walking, little trips away, taking photos – but I’m very aware I can’t treat every week like a holiday.
For those of you who are retired, what do you most enjoy doing for fun these days? Are there hobbies, local groups, gentle exercise or small routines that really lift your mood in the week? I’m curious what keeps you feeling active and interested, especially on the days when you’re not travelling or can’t get out as much as you’d like. I’d really like to pick up a few ideas from people who’ve found a good balance between putting their feet up and still having things to look forward to.
