I miss my childhood days, where time stood still, where a typical day lasted forever, where everything new was exciting, where playtime actually meant playtime, where the lead-up to school getting out was the highlight of my day, running home to catch the Flintstones and Gilligan's Island, when summer holidays meant waking to the birds singing, sprinklers spitting, the sun shining, and a new and fresh adventure just waiting to be embarked upon, and when we couldn't rush home fast enough on the last day of class before Christmas Holidays!
I remember the rainy days in school, looking out the long and tall pane-glass windows, and even though I loathed school, there was something magical about it, being with all of your school friends, making festive and holiday paper-cutouts for Halloween, Christmas, and other times of the year, and pasting them on the school windows, the school plays that were held in the gym, a volleyball game after school, and high-tailing it home straight afterwards in the dark to sit down to moms good old-fashioned home-cooking.
