What do you think of all the anti-aging products

There are all kinds of products that are designed to stop aging, or at least hide it. We've all seen the TV ads about some pill or goop that will help you. You take it and a minute later, you're sky diving or breaking out in a huge, choreographed dance number.
What do you think of the products that stop aging? What do you think about product that hide aging?

I think if you want to go that route with using products it is ok. I am accepting the way I look, wrinkles, freckles, and all. I think that the anti aging products take advantage of people who use a lot of them. There is nothing wrong with looking old or older.

We have it ingrained from long ago that looking old is something undesirable or bad. I earned all my wrinkles, scars, freckles and there is not a thing in the world wrong with looking or being old.

Ive not used a lot of anti aging products. Most are very expensive but I have used some and they are very good. Currently I’m out of anti aging face cleanser so need to get more. I think anti aging products are a big seller. Most people don’t like aging especially if it shows. The industry plays on our vanity.

I knew a girl from my school days. She was petite. At least 3 decades later I ran into her again. I couldn't help notice that she had filled out a bit and had quite a "rack", if I am allowed to express myself crudely. Anyway, we ended up in bed and that's when I realized she was pumped up with silly-cone. Yuck! I insisted she put her bra back on because those ..... uhhhh ..... you know what I mean ..... were freaking me out. Anyway, I did what I could but I had to fake an orgasm just to get it over with.

You can keep your ageing and beauty products. If the people I meet cannot accept the fact that I am an old man nearing 80 then they won't be getting a Christmas card from me. 🫤

If you take proper care early on with sun screen, moisturizer, removing make up, ....it shows and it does not cost a fortune.

Miracles do not happen. Mumsy goes through tantrums when she finds something in a magazine promising to take 20 years off in four weeks and I do not order it for her. Using $60 face cream on her feet made me buy for her what I use which is Neutrogena.

The best anti-aging product is exercise, pure and simple. That’s why I try to walk every day on a route that includes some steep hills that get me huffing and puffing. Very close behind is the next best product called a good diet. I limit added sugar and highly processed carbs. My goal is to put off metabolic diseases that tear down the body. Number three is pharmaceuticals, wisely used when diet and exercise fail. My mother lived for 30 years controlling her blood pressure with pills. After the above three the next best anti-aging product is a good plastic surgeon. If you can’t beat them, fool them.

Oh, several more anti-aging products that’s work are a good photographer, makeup person, and tailor. People in the entertainment industry have known this for years. Photographers can emphasize your positives and minimize your negatives. Make up people can disguise a lot of flaws by drawing the eye away from them. And a good tailor can alter your clothing to minimize the big belly and maximize that manly chest. And they do the equivalent for women.

Smoke & mirrors.

I do use anti aging products and take some supplements. Yes, in my experience they do benefit or I wouldn't continue. I believe good nutrition and lifestyle are the most helpful to anti aging or just looking younger than your years. The best products I've seen or used are : collagen supplements for skin and joints. These can also help hair and nails. Collagen products are the most expensive supplements I take and I have not seen as much improvement in my nails although my skin and hair look better.

:caffeine creams for undereye puffiness and aging with dark circles is fairly cheap and works great.

: Niacinamide creams are especially great for crepey skin and turkey neck. These are also not very expensive.

Beverly Hills Md is my favorite anti aging skin care kine. They are hugely expensive so I buy from other venues like Ebay or Poshmark where their products cost less.

Some anti-aging products probably reduce superficial elements of aging but since most aging is the result of genetics and lifestyle over decades, seniors trying to belatedly significantly stem aging effects are likely playing a losing game. Of course, people can use facial/hair makeup too out in public that has value until one is close to a person.

This subject is related to the general subject of aging rates. When I was in high school, those more mature adult looking students tended to have a more active social and dating life while those still appearing like adolescent teenagers, not as much. Science has shown those that age quickly while young, also tend to do so when much older. This person has done little on purpose to slow aging but my lifestyle in hindsight complemented by better genetics may have had an effect. Never nicotine, never much alcohol, ate fewer meals per day with smaller portions, little red meat but much vegetables, protected face wearing hats outdoors, rarely sunburned, very active outdoors.

Putting aside my gibberish " comedy " .

As you know collagen is also used for joints , now some say it works others say it does not .

I use collagen and MSM granules and for me they have been huge for my hip arthritis to the point I no longer take any meds and swear by them but again others say no difference .

Simone Biles I am not but over time the pain was reduced a good 90 percent and the 10 percent which is more like discomfort now and then I can live with rather then take meds .

I am not some " Influencer " in fact I can barely put together a coherent paragraph nor am I winning any beauty contest , lol but yes I do like them .

Btw , Do you find collagen gives you nightmares , vivid dreams ?

I take them in am due to this .
