What exactly is an "Object" (or three)?

There is a very long thread on SF about the Chinese balloon that was shot down by our military. But what about these other 3 objects that were also destroyed? I know that they have been characterized as "possibly balloons," perhaps for “benign” commercial or research efforts. However, other descriptions, such as being octagonal, do not support the balloon conclusion. As far as being benign, they were at a height to be of danger to aircraft. That is not benign! Nor has any entity, private or scientific, come forward to claim ownership.

Could they have been drones of some sort? To be detected and tracked by military radar, they would have had to be substantially larger and been aloft far longer than the average drone is capable of. I find it hard to believe after all this time that the wreckage of at least one of them has not been re-covered and identified. It also seems very suspicious that all three were detected just one day apart from each other! But nothing since then?

So just what the heck are these "objects"?

My guess is that they originated in Asia, got caught up in the Jetstream, and wound up over the U.S. and Canada, accidently. There's probably nothing to worry about, other than the fact that they pose a risk to aircraft flying at the same altitude.

By "they" I assume you mean balloons? But three in a row, and then nothing?!

Listening to a radio talk show..host said..
He believes our military intelligence is so aware of what going on...but doesn't know want to reveal too much.
Has for confidence in them.
Just stating what was one person's opinion.

I posted my suspicions in another thread. They are that one of the objects was reported at 1st as a cylindrical, metallic object. And like you I noticed one was reported as being octagonal. Next thing you know they were all being categorized as balloons. That's exactly what happened after the Roswell incident.

Allegedly some of them are in remote areas with bad weather conditions so they will be hard to reach. Just saw on World News Tonight that the president has been asked by members of both parties to address the nation about these objects. Don't know if that's already been done because I get my news a few hours later via Hulu.. But I know we cannot expect full disclosure.

Well said!

Is there a connection between these "objects" and the Navy UAP (UFO) photos that have been released in the last couple of years???

Thank you. That's a good question but probably not due to the size of the last reported objects. I think the objects in the navy UAP photos were probably larger...but I could be wrong.

Ceaseless media chatter on this subject, it seems. Most of it scattershot missing the target. Target being providing credible, reliable information to the citizenry. Best quote I've read on this (paraphrasing here): "If all this is confusing you, you've got it exactly right." That coming from - wait for it -an elected representative even.

That's what I want to know!

Oh that's a good point! I was so busy thinking about the Russian war and it's effects, I forgot about the other possibility. They sure did call it a balloon when the Roswell event happened.

Here are some of the headlines that I believe I saw on one of the UFO docs that the military initially provided the information for. Then of course, the military walked back on their statements and came up with the dumb weather balloon story.
