What gives you the most pleasure?

Most of our lives is spent on living- doing the things you need to do to survive. But I was wondering what gives you the most pleasure. This isn't the obvious like family, love, but the things you do on Saturday nights, Sunday afternoon. For example, I love "Perry Mason", the old TV show. There were 271 episodes. MeTV runs it twice/day, It gives me great pleasure watching it, even though I've seen each episode several dozen times. I can still get into the show, and seeing it so regularly gives me a sense of comfort. It's not a big part of my life, but something I truly enjoy.
 

I'm too old to do a lot of the physical outdoor stuff that I enjoy so now I find my greatest pleasure in reading books that I didn't have a lot of time for when I was younger. I belong to the Kindle library and for $9.99/month can check out 10 books at a time.
 

My hobbies, trying new recipes, reading, which I never enjoyed as a kid, gardening. Finally learning to sew and doing woodworking projects under the guidance of my son. Working with him makes my day.

Playing in a band of smokin' hot musicians gave me great, great pleasure, but I've accepted that I'll never have a band like that, again. That saddens me, but I've given up trying to get a good band going, after several recent no-go attempts. Other than music, great sex is a close second. Third, the views from tall trees, when I'm at the top. Fourth, cooking a great meal, and watching everyone enjoy eating it. One other thing: At times, a feeling of grace will descend on me, out of nowhere, when I'm going about living my life. Unpredictable, and, perhaps, all the more profound for its unexpected occurrence.
 
Hiking up in the mountains. There is nothing (for us) to compare to spending a few hours hiking up to 8000, 10000, 12000 feet and being on the top of the mountain............

Over all,in life, is having a mate that I can spend time with.

One who has been there through thick and thin..

One who knows me inside and out....

One who loves my Savior...as I do.

I could not ask for anymore............
