What happened to the edit button/link on my posts?

The edit button/links on all of my posts are now gone. Can someone please tell me what happened?

Edit: It is there this thread, but not the others.

I thought that you have to have a certain number of posts before you can have the ability to edit !

After so many hours, the ability to edit ones own post is gone. You would have to ask @Matrix what that time frame is for sure.

Ok... I had an admin tell me to edit a post, but I am unable to... LOL

there is only ONE admin and that is the owner of the forum @Matrix, so unless it was him telling you then it wasn't admin

well if he told you , you can edit, and you now find you can;t, click on his name and send him a message..

Seems like it is 24 hours, maybe less.

I think there is a time limit to be able to edit posts.
Never have taken notice of this time frame. Though with one of my posts the edit facility disappeared almost immediately.
If I remember, I will check in on my last post, posted 37 minutes ago. As at 3.50pm Perth time.

The edit button disappears after there have been replies,
below your post, I believe.
