Hands down for me is this battery storage case, both sides completely filled with All The Batteries!! My daughter Paige gave it to us, and all her siblings, last Christmas!!🎄

It is the single most useful thing I’ve ever received! Every time I need a battery I’m amazed anew that she thought of it, and how grateful I am knowing that whatever battery I need will be right there, conveniently located, in its appropriate spot

What a unique, thoughtful and useful gift!

I have one of those but it's a cloth covered case... I bought it for myself 4 years ago.... ..it's really been very useful..and for the first 2 years it was full with batteries.. but now I use a lot more USB items to charge them, so not using batteries as much

Many years ago, my wife gave me a very large round crock pot. I was disappointed and didn't use it much, because I was hoping for a regular size crock pot. Quite some time ago, I got her gift out, and discovered I could put a round metal rack in it, with some water underneath, and a normal size round stainless steel cake pan on top, which would hold a complete meal. Meat and vegetables could all be heated at once, and transferred to a plate when done. Then my only clean up would be the metal cake pan - - - and that clean up is minimal, since I spray inside it first with cooking spray.

Ever since, I have been using it at least 3 times a week or more. She gave me other gifts that were more meaningful in a personal way, but as far as usefulness goes, this is the one gift I have used more than any other.

A weekend murder mystery train trip from Detroit to Chicago. I was 'Tony the tuna' a mob boss. We all dressed the part and it started on the train halfway to Chicago and ended in a huge hotel ballroom on New Years, then we partied afterwards.
I love that kind of thing! One year, (1980?) my brother who lived in San Francisco, gave me the gift of a trip to see him. The whole week was fabulous --San Francisco Ballet, Royal Ballet Company that was visiting from England, many comedy clubs (Paula Poundstone teased me all night and I loved it) fabulous food all week, but my favorite thing was a role playing event like your mystery train.

It was called Prom Night and everyone who could wore their old prom clothes. There was a great band and some professional dancers mixed in with the rest of us. The speakers were: Robin Williams as an exchange student, Ruby Wax as Prom Queen, many other local comedians in different roles. So. Much. Fun!

One of my Favourite gifts is a small ring costing a few pence, my daughter bought it for me out of her pocket money when she was seven years old, checking everyday for weeks to make sure I was wearing it !

I‘ve moved more times than I can remember but always kept that ring with me, in a little box with her first tooth

I bought a Bose CD/radio in Dec 2002,listen to it when I wake up every morning
When my late next door Tudor Plaza neighbor, Jerry passed away in 2016, his daughter gave me his white Bose CD/radio.It was her way of thanking me for being a thoughtful/helpful neighbor. I listen to our local classical station every day in my living room think of him as well

Two vacations my husband took me on. The first was the whole 469 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was absolutely gorgeous. The second was the Natchez Parkway all 444 miles of it. It's landscape was beautiful. It was hard to pick between the two because each has it's own distinct characteristics. The best part of the trips were the pictures and memories made.
