What has been your newest senior discount discovery?

Keeper of the Hounds & Garden
I just bought a Senior + membership I would never have dreamed of joining before. We had had decided to buy two tickets to Filoli historic house and garden in spite of the expense. Adult tickets are $38 per but seniors pay $33, so we save $10. But wait, a membership for a year costs only $85 for a senior - and the named member can bring a guest each visit. Terrific so for $9 more than the price of two senior tickets we can return free as much as we like through the year. But it got better: the first time you buy a membership they give you a $25 discount so $85 - $25 = $60, a six dollar discount over two one time senior tickets.

For me the draw is the huge immaculately maintained estate garden. Here are some snaps I took this morning:

My AARP supplemental insurance will pay for my gym membership. Not really too new, started it last summer.
i have never taken advantage of a senior discount. I was stung that a small market assumed i was a senior and gave me a 10 percent discount. I walked out of there thinking, do i look old? I mean I am retirement age but i am totally in denial.
