"Be good to yourself"
AND, do you plan to keep it?
thank you @ IKE, I am gathering info once againDIL gave us our first ever new IPhone 12 fourteen months ago and her and my son pay the monthly Verizon bill.....while I really appreciate the gesture I very rarely even carry my flip phone as it is so I didn't really need it.
Mama turns on and carries her flip phone every time she leaves the house and uses IPhone off and on a couple of hours per day to watch YouTube videos and I'd be willing to bet I haven't monkeyed around with it more than an hour total since we've had it......I use a desktop to access the internet and our primary phone is still our landline.
Thank You!IPhone 7 for me. I got it several years ago for free when a friend wanted to get the latest/greatest phone.
It's great for what I need as I mainly use txt & call features as well as the camera for pics (which are really quite good resolution wise). I refuse to use it for accessing any internet site unless I have to because I just find any phone's screen much too small. I do use some of the other features occasionally: the Alarm feature, email, notes feature for shopping or any other list I need to make, the calculator plus I have a bunch of Apps that I use regularly.
I won't get rid of this one until they stop updating the operating system, which could be soon . I hope not because there's always that learning curve when you do get a new phone. My previous phone to this one was a Blackberry Z10. Useless except for email, txt & calls.
No idea what model, it has a number of Gs, if that helps. Had it a couple of years... or so. I'll keep it until it gets lost or dies. Not a big fan of smart phones, just an irritating necessity...What iPhone model do you currently use? How long have you had it? AND, do you plan to keep it?
that is a good point I think Magna-Carta...leave to the masses, who invariable bring the price down...I have an iPhone 6. I'm happy enough with it, as it still does the same things now as it did when I bought it. The 88 App's that I've put on it still works fine. More significantly, I can make calls with it, which for me was the main point of it.
I thought it funny that when I bought it and the sales assistant demonstrated if features to me, at no point did she say I can use it to call people.
When I buy something I don't usually feel I need the latest version of something. I leave that to the 'masses', who invariably bring the price down.
