What is it like for a person over 60 claiming jsa

Hi all, please can anyone tell me exactly what its like claiming JSA when your 62 and over?

No idea, I've never claimed JSA.. but since I've read quite a bit about it, it seems it's the same as if you were younger, you have to actively look for work and prove it to them to enable your claim for JSA.. and not be sanctioned.., once you reach pension age at 66 you no longer qualify for JSA

In the UK, JSA would stand for Job Seekers Allowance, a posh name for the Dole.
Being on it at any age isn’t much fun but that close to retirement it’s soul destroying.
