What is the favorite decade of your life?

Without a doubt it was the 1960's. I met my wife, got married and our daughter was born, all in the 60's.

What is your favorite decade and why?

This one

Why?

Because……it’s now...I can touch it

But then…. I really don’t know…..life ain’t over yet

love the 80s ..with the clothes -and music was best yet

My best decade for being carefree and having fun was the 80's, although I don't remember a lot of it. I was in my 20's for most of it, had a good job and partied my butt off.

I'd like to think that each decade has gotten better for me in regard to figuring out life and what direction I'm headed. There have been setbacks, but I think I've made steady progress throughout.

I finally met and married my soulmate in this past decade so that's definitely one of the best.

I'd also like to think that my best decade(s) are yet to come. I am really looking forward to retirement and being on my own time!

Gary, that must be an older pic, you look sooooo young.

Just knowing that I don't have to be in a certain place at a certain time every day will be great!

The 70's because I graduated from high school, got my 1st job, moved into my 1st apt which ironically was around the corner from my childhood home.I like staying in a familiar neighborhood
The 80's because I got my 2nd job where I stayed for 27 yrs, moved into my co-op apt where I still reside today
The 2000's because 7 1/2yrs ago I retired and loving my'new life' of leisure
There are some days when I wish I could back to my childhood where the world wasn't so violent/ fast paced. We didn't have to lock our doors or cars,we knew who are neighbors were, some became close friends of our parents. They would keep an eye on us as we played with other neighborhood kids.Alas ,the 'days of innoncence' are only a memory now Sue

Actually, the trimmed mug is from my working days (over three years ago….sheeeesh!)

Heh, when I first retired, I’d wake up early (habit), go fix coffee, watch the birds wake up on the back deck, hear the neighbors start their cars, giggle my hind end off, and go back to bed….easing into the slumberland of the cool side of the pillow

That was when I first retired

Nothin’ much has changed, ‘cept out here I no longer hear the neighbors
