Mine is definately baking breads, cakes, cookies, etc. for others. I just haven't done it in what seems a long time ~ due to Covid.

I don't do much cooking or baking (can't decide if I'm lazy or just not hungry), but I like to make what my mother used to call Poor Man's Cinnamon Rolls. It's cinnamon rolls except you use biscuit dough instead of yeast dough. I shortcut even further and use Bisquick but I add a little cinnamon to it. They're quite tasty right outa the oven.

I have attempted to make cinnamon rolls with yeast and have not succeeded; they were flat. lol

Making a large pot of soup or chili or stew. I love to cut up all the veggies in little pieces and make a lot of noise with my big butcher knife. It fills the room with a nice fragrance from the veggies, meats and spices and sauces.

Sometimes I like to bake cupcakes, too. Last ones I made were spice cake with cream cheese icing...yummy! I've yet to make a whole cake since I've been living here but hope to one day and from scratch. I have an almost knew mixer to use, too. I haven't made any cookies here yet either but will.

A pot of my Polish Borscht.

The simmering of the baby back ribs for 2 hours to prepare the stock, and then with each addition to the pot, the mouthwatering aroma of the soup begins to come alive, filling the air with delight, and all while exciting my senses.
