What kind of sounds bother you the most, even if it sounds strange to say.

Loud TV commercials....whenever one of those blasts during a good show, I make a mental note to Never buy the product they are selling.

I'm with you Don. When I have the volume on the tv set where I want it and then all of a sudden a loud commercial starts blaring, I make a mental note of never to buy that product. I don't think they should be allowed to override the tv volume setting either.

I'm not sure what it is, but the sound of knocking on doors, especially wooden doors, really bothers me. There's a pizza commercial on TV now that starts off with the sound of rapping on a wooden door. Something from my childhood? I really don't know, but I hate it.

I am in full agreement with you Olivia. Delivery people pound on the front door in spite of the fact that we have an expensive doorbell...Grrrr

Speaking of noise. I didn't change the batteries in my smoke alarm with the time change.

Instead. I have a battery tester. Why throw away a good battery? Those 9 volt alkaline are expensive.

But the apartment has a hard wired smoke alarm. I don't trust it because it's too far from the kitchen.

So I bought a battery operated one and put it close to the kitchen.

The new smoke alarms beep when the battery is low anyway.
