What level of education did you achieve?

MBA then a JD. I loved learning and love the story of the man who got his PhD in physics at age 89. Wish I weren't too old for vet school but I think they wouldn't admit someone who can't have a long career in the profession.
In my PhD classes, I met a student who was 76. It's never too late to learn!

I am very grateful for u-tube. I often watch educational tapes and have even started trying to learn Latin and Spanish. We are so very fortunate to have so much readily available without needing to go to a formal classroom or the library for info

As long as learning takes place, any kind of education, whether formal or informal is sufficient. I also use Youtube as a learning tool.

I thought that my Psyh. degree would help me save the world. I was so young and idealisic. When I did my internship, I would zone out during therapy sessions and realized I had no idea what the patient/client was talking about. So, I returned to nursing and clinical instructor phase which I did love.
I probably thought the same as a student. Good for you for going into nursing. I have so very much respect for nurses...seems the doctors get all the glory while the nurses are deserving of much more praise than they receive.

I only achieved a 4 year degree (BS Mathematics), I had intended to take a year off and then work on a Masters in Operations Research (the sort of subject where test questions are puzzles such as to determine the most profitable distribution of a certain amount of strawberries among a bunch of different grocery stores that have different types of customers so that some stores can sell a limited number of expensive perfect strawberries and other stores can sell limited amounts of various quality strawberries at various specific prices, and then some stores can sell as many of any quality of strawberry if the price is low enough - and the student has to recognize and apply the right formula to solve the problem).
But, I got a job testing software that only needed just the bachelor degree and that paid what seemed to me at the time to be a great salary, and my excess money allowed me to buy a horse which used up all my spare time and energy (and money). So, I never went back to school.
