What Scary Movies Did You See

When I was a kid, I would hide when anything scary came on TV. Even the Twilight Zone gave me nightmares.
The night before our second son was born, (2&1/2 months premature), hubby took me to the drive in movies. We saw Concurer's Worm, with Vincent Price. It scarred me to the point I couldn't sleep, and I went into labor. To this day I have never watched another a scary movie. Not even the Exorcist, Rosemary 's Baby, or the Alien.
Did you like scary movies? Which ones do you remember?

The scariest movie I ever saw was the movie of my first wedding reception as well as the my first marriage....
What a disaster !!!!!!

Now that would give me nightmares and keep me up all night !!!!!

I never went to the cinema as a child, my sisters and I weren't permitted to do so. I went very rarely as an adult, about five times in all, I think. I dislike cinemas and prefer to watch a DVD at home. The scary film genre isn't for me so I have never watched any.

'The Thing' was the first scary movie I remember. 'Frankenstein' was another. One of my all time favorites was the original 3D movie 'The house of Wax'.

I liked scary movies when there was suspense, not just blood and gore like todays movies.

I do not scare easy. Remember, I spent 14 months in the Vietnam War. But, the scariest movie that I ever saw was, "Candyman." That movie scared the living crap out of me. I think that I just got too involved in it.

I'm not a big fan of scary or horror movies, but my husband likes them, so I've seen quite a few with him. Almost all the ones already mentioned, I don't even recall them all. I remember Motel Hell, Pumpkinhead, Saw, and Human Caterpillar (left the room on that one) were pretty intense, but probably more in the horror category.
